I am from Kagoshima Japan. Kagoshima is very nice place! Today, I　introduce Kagoshima to you !First of all, I introduce Kagoshima's delicious food. Do you know "Shirokuma" ? It doesn't mean White bear. It is a type of kakigori, a Japanese dessert made from shaved ice flavored with ,condense milk, small colorful mochi, fruits, and sweet bean paste (usually Azuki bean). Shirokuma has been popular in Kagoshima since the middle of the Edo period and is well-known to many Japanese. But also in some department stores, such as Yamakataya (山形屋) or Mujaki. Possibly you may have looked it at convenience store.Shirokuma are often eaten at Kagoshima Fairs which are held in other prefectures.
